ACADEMIC PROFILE
Together with over 15 years experience as an applied practitioner, Simon is an established scholar who has delivered keynote presentations at numerous conferences and lectured at universities across the UK, including University College London. Simon is a co-founder of the Golf Performance Network, a community and world-leading learning platform for coaches, sports scientists, therapists and doctors. He has over a dozen peer-reviewed publications, including journal articles, book chapters and a host of online and magazine articles. Simon has developed a reputation within his industry for his expertise around the biomechanics - S&C - Skill Acquisition interface to optimise transfer of training benefits. He currently holds positions on multiple scientific advisory boards within elite golf organisations.
MULTI-SPORT REHAB PROFILE
Simon has a particular interest in restoring physical qualities following musculoskeletal health problems. In collaboration with his experienced medical partners, Simon has a proven track record successfully returning athletes to performance following: bilateral lumbar pars defects, hip surgery (Femoroacetabular Impingement/labral tears), multi-ligament ankle reconstruction, ankle syndesmosis surgical repair, grade III hip muscle-tendon injuries, ACL reconstruction (not exhaustive).
